Has over 45 years' experience in representing contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, sureties, owners, and closely held business in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and contract and dispute negotiations.

Mediated over 600 cases (as both a Mediator and representing a party) involving owners (both public and private), contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, sureties, insurers, title insurers, competing purchasers, as well as design professionals and lenders involved in the construction and real estate development process.

Mediated claims involving design and construction defects, delays/acceleration, differing site conditions, boundary disputes, construction liens, lien priorities between banks and lien claimants, and property damage claims.

I believe that mediation is a party's last opportunity to resolve a dispute where the parties control the process. I take my cues from the parties as to the best manner to get the dispute resolved and tailor my approach accordingly. I aggressively pursue resolution and, if asked, offer my insight on how I believe an arbitrator or court would decide the issues.
