Over 25 years' experience as a litigator specializing in construction contract and claims analysis law. Practices exclusively in construction contract area with experience in contract development and in litigation and claims analysis on public works contracts and projects involving prison construction, water and wastewater treatment plant development, hospital expansion and renovation and general building construction. Majority of experience centers on scheduling claims involving delay and acceleration issues and on damages calculation analysis. Handles disputes regarding breach of contract issues including scheduling problems, acceleration, delays, defective construction and defective and ambiguous plans and specifications. Represents owners, general contractors, construction managers and trade and specialty contractors involving both national and international claims.

Owner-contractor disputes involving delay, changes to the work, non-payment; public and private construction. Has mediated over 30 matters, all construction related and most involving owners and contractors. A small percentage has involved subcontractors and general contractors. Most have been involving cost and time, with several involving defective work.

Construction cases have focused on delay analysis and damage assessment, charged allowable under unit price and cost-plus contracts, incomplete or defective work, termination; most involve some allegation of design errors or deficiencies.

I am a generally evaluative mediator, having participated in the process for many years with much experience in all aspects of the construction experience.
