Over 30 years of experience in arbitration, adjudication and mediation (and other forms of dispute resolution practices) and have acted as arbitrator, adjudicator, and mediator in a variety of international and domestic cases involving public as well as private international law. Currently a chartered arbitrator, chartered information technology professional, chartered engineer, certified adjudicator, and accredited mediator. Experienced in technology and licensing issues, construction and infrastructure projects, engineering, manufacturing, aviation, international trade and acquisitions, green technology, employment, commercial contracts, intellectual property rights banking and investment disputes. Listed on various dispute resolution panels around the world (over 38 institutions). Appointed as a panel member of the Securities and Futures Commission Appeals Tribunal, appointed as Chairman of Appeal Tribunal Panel (Buildings), appointed as a advisory committee member of the Accounting Financial Reporting Council, appointed as a board member of the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre. Appointed to the mediation panel of the Court of Sports of the International Council of Arbitration for Sports, and appointed as an arbitrator and mediator to the Court of Arbitration for Art. Has served as arbitrator in over 230 cases to date involving both ad hoc and institutional arbitrations as party-appointed arbitrator, as sole arbitrator, and chairman. Can deliver independent decisions (both in the languages of English and Chinese). Acted as counsel in international arbitrations under various arbitral rules.
