Represents owners, developers, prime/general contractors, sub and specialty contractors, sureties, suppliers, design professionals and homeowners in public and private construction related disputes, litigations and arbitrations. Trial experience in state and federal courts, both jury and jury waived. Mediated and arbitrated numerous disputes involving breaches of contract, negligent design, construction defects, property damage, personal injury, insurance and surety claims and labor and employment matters.

Trained and certified as a Mediator since 2004. Have mediated cases involving schools, new construction, renovation projects, industrial facilities, offices and homes.

I believe a mediator should be well prepared, experienced in actually taking cases to trial (jury and non-jury) and arbitration, ready to provide input concerning the strengths/weaknesses of each party’s position, a very good listener and respectful at all times. I also believe a mediator should automatically follow up if the case does not initially settle, and make every reasonable effort thereafter to assist the parties in resolving the dispute.

Ability to use Zoom and other platforms to conduct arbitrations and mediations online, as opposed to in-person.
