Over 27 years of litigation experience representing manufacturers, premise owners, lenders, general contractors and subcontractors. Board Certified in Construction Law, by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2016. Manages active litigation dockets statewide serving as Texas counsel for several clients. Years of experience in construction and business litigation involving multi-party party, complex litigation construction issues. Tried numerous jury trials, and arbitrations involving work related injuries, construction defect and construction related disputes throughout Texas including issues involving schools, churches, jails, high-rise residential and office buildings, hospitals, assisted-living facilities, multi-family and single-family residential construction.

Mediated many cases involving multiple parties in personal injury cases as well as mediated over 200 cases involving complex commercial construction defect cases.

The mediation process belongs to the parties and the success of the process depends on each party evaluating their case and being willing to participate. The role of the mediator is not to run numbers back and forth, but to work with each party facilitating an environment conducive to negotiation. This process starts at least 30 days prior to the actual mediation, and as such, the mediator must prepare and maintain the trust and confidence of the parties involved.
