Professor of Law, Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, 1978 – 2005; National Labor Relations Board, Philadelphia Regional Office, 1984 (sabbatical leave); Staff Attorney, State of Florida Public Employees Relations Commission, 1976 – 1977.

Has been a mediator associated with the pro bona mediation program of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania since the program's inception in 1994. Has served as a mediator in approximately 35 cases, almost all of which have involved disputes arising out of employment relationships. In 2007, became a pro bona mediator for the EEOC's Baltimore Field Office and in 2009 became a contract (i.e., paid) mediator in 2009 and remain a contract mediator. Has served as a mediator in approximately 75 EEOC cases, all of which involved allegations of discrimination (.e.g, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability). Entered into a relationship with the Pennsylvania Office for Dispute Resolution in January of 2015 for services as a mediator and facilitator with regard to special education disputes. As an ODR mediator and facilitator, has served in approximately 45 cases. Also served as a mediator with regard to a dispute arising out of the administration of a decedent's estate. On the mediation roster of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR), however all the PAR cases assigned have resolved prior to the mediation.

Over the past 40 years, have mediated in excess of 1,000 disputes, approximately 75% of which involved matters arising out of employment relationships.

Able to conduct hearings via virtual platforms if parties set up the meetings and are responsible for technology-related issues which might arise.
