Prior to turning to ADR, practice focused in the areas of products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage litigation and general commercial litigation. This includes defending food products claims across the supply chain, as well as managing products liability defense, both in the lead trial counsel role and in supervising litigation handled by local counsel across the United States. Representative Litigation Experience Commercial Litigation and Business Disputes: Disputes arising from the dissolution of business relationships, including both corporate entities and partnerships; breach of contract disputes in a variety of industries and contexts, including disputes arising from breached agreements to purchase property; and cases arising from breaches of licensing, advertising and vendor agreements across the supply chain. Personal Injury: Has handled hundreds of personal injury cases arising from motor vehicle and premises liability accidents. Products Liability: Representative cases include explosions, fires, wrongful death actions and serious injury cases related to a variety of products, and products liability cases related to food products. Insurance Coverage: Issues typically include claims of breach of an insurance contract and insurer bad faith and related issues. Malpractice Claims: Defended health care providers, insurance agents and attorneys in claims of professional malpractice.

Successfully mediated a wide variety of disputes, including disability discrimination claims, personal injury claims, gender discrimination claims, wrongful death claims, invasion of privacy claims, defamation claims, medical malpractice claims, estate claims, landlord/tenant disputes and contract disputes, among others. Recent representative cases include multiple breaches of privacy cases involving illegal taping of individuals, the dissolution of a business partnership and related breach of contract claims, professional malpractice claims arising from a death and involving insurance coverage issues, multiple injury cases arising from a single motor vehicle accident, claims arising from an estate, and multiple disputes between tenants and their landlords. Serves on the panel of approved mediators for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. Approved Nebraska Parenting Act Mediator.
