Mediation experience concentrated in commercial/civil matters. Experience includes Contractor breach of commercial general liability policy, Credit card company breach of contract, B2B commercial dispute airline sales contractor and ticket vendor (breach of contract), several FLSA disputes (wage and hour disputes), insurance interpleader involving employee death benefits policy (beneficiary dispute), breach of contract claim between aviation company and airplane retrofitter regarding quality of work and materials (breach of contract), theft of services claim between business owner and sports cable licensor (violation of Telecommunications Act). Additionally, have mediated construction cases, CGLI issues respecting duty to defend/duty to indemnify, and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act issues.

I prepare extensively for each mediation and also seek the cooperation and preparation of the parties in advance of the mediation. I request Mediation Statements from the parties and request permission to share their positions or retain such information confidential as they direct. I see the mediator's role as serving as a bridge to problem solving by the parties structured by helping the parties connect and educate each other on what they need to get to resolution.
