Twelve years on the Los Angeles Superior Court bench and 30 years as an employment and labor law attorney. As a judicial officer conducted trials, discovery disputes and a great variety of motions in high volume environments. For two years was the presiding judge of the family law division settlement court successfully resolving hundreds of cases. With Morrison & Foerster established and chaired the employment and labor law practice in Los Angeles. Tried jury and non-jury cases in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. Represented both plaintiffs and defendants in harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, trade secret and breach of contract cases. Counseled employers regarding employment policies and practices, negotiated collective bargaining agreements, drafted employment policies and contracts.

If notice is less than the period specified above, the party that requests the continuance or cancellation shall be responsible for 100% of the fees for the hearing. The arbitrator will try to rebook the time to mitigate these fees.
