Generally, she takes a facilitative and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, working with parties to identify both legal and practical barriers to settlement and encouraging productive dialogue that allows participants to evaluate risks and opportunities realistically. Judge Brewer seeks to understand the values, desired outcomes, and sense of justice that each party brings to the table. Through open-ended and reflective questioning, she fosters a space where parties can articulate their goals, motivations, and what resolution means to them. Preparation and confidentiality are paramount and confidential mediation statements are requested in advance. For matters requiring travel beyond that distance, travel time is billed portal-to-portal at my stated travel rate. Reasonable travel expenses are billed at cost. Cancellation Policy If a mediation session is cancelled or postponed within ten (10) business days of the scheduled session, a cancellation fee may apply. Cancellations within five (5) business days may result in a charge of up to the full scheduled mediation fee. Cancellation fees may be waived in the event of unforeseen emergencies or mutual agreement.
