Mediator Style & Process Preferences

Evaluative mediation pushing and challenging the parties on their respective positions and contentions of facts and law. As a lifelong litigator I work with the parties to understand their positions so as to best covey those positions to the opposing party. However, I will actively engage in challenging those positions which are subject to scrutiny. I will often engage in pre-mediation conversations with the parties to better understand elements of the case or concerns they have which cannot be put in a mediation statement. My experience with victims of abuse and neglect provides me an opportunity to delicately handle parties with deep emotions in the sensitive matters.

Technology Proficiency

Mediation scheduling process is fully automated. About 50% of the mediations conducted have one or more participants attending by Zoom.
