Past experience includes training new mediators. Prior to attending law school, working in mutual fund accounting and financial reporting which affords a comfort with numbers many family law mediators do not possess.

Trained in mediation in 2013. Mediated in both private and courthouse settings. Mediations focus on family conflict resolution including divorce, custody, parenting, child support, property division, etc.

All issues related to divorce and family including same sex families, families with de facto parents (grandparents or other), families with special needs children, clients with neurodivergence and/or learning challenges, families who needed the assistance of an interpreter to mediate, families with adult children, families with self-employed individuals, families with a history of intimate partner violence.

Mediation should feel like a supported conversation between spouses and should assist them in transforming their relationship from a married partnership to a new relationship such as co-parents, business partners, etc. Throughout the process, as the mediator, I will provide legal information and my clients will share the history and relevant facts of their family including a fully transparent disclosure of all finances. I will walk through the process with my clients. Each mediation looks different because I believe in a full client centered approach. Each family is different, therefore, mediations look different.

Is generally quite comfortable with online platforms. Our firm uses Zoom, G-Suite and CLIO.
