Mediator Style & Process Preferences

I try to learn as much about the case as I can. I request mediation statements from the parties. I request a copy of the complaint and sometimes photographs, police reports, depositions etc. I conduct independent research. I attempt to evaluate what a fair resolution would consist of to attempt to drive the parties to that result. I research the attorney's backgrounds and always conduct pre-mediation phone calls with the attorneys and sometimes the insurance company representative.
